Holiday Craft Fair at the Middle School
The Haddam-Killingworth Middle School PTO is sponsoring its annual holiday craft fair today form 9:00-3:00 at the middle school. Admission is free. There will be over 50 craft professionals exhibiting their work. A good chance to start on all your holiday shopping.

Stray Bullet Reported at KES
On November 19, Killingworth Elementary Principal, Dr. Maureen Fitzpatrick notified elementary school parents that a stray bullet was reported close to school grounds. State troopers declared the area safe within an hour and later found two hunters in the deep woods near the school.
In her alert, Dr. Fitzpatrick wrote that the teachers in the lower level wing of the school were instructed to keep students below window level. Dr. Robert Goldman, Interim Superintendent plans, to meet with town officials to discuss additional postings near the school.
