Dear Editor: Claudette Lagasse for Killingworth Treasurer I have been friends with Claudette Lagasse for over thirty years. During that time we were often involved with the same community activities from St. Lawrence Church participation to the Killingworth Historical Society. I know Claudette to be a hard working dedicated community volunteer. As a Killingworth resident for more than thirty-five years she is the kind of neighbor you wish you had. Both she and her husband Donald are committed to helping out their friends, neighbors and residents whenever needed. From her many years of working at the Killingworth Elementary School as Library Assistant and Assistant Secretary in the Principal's Office Claudette couldn't go anywhere in town without a youngster coming up to her just to say " hi Mrs. Lagasse". Claudette managed her husband's business for five years. She served as Treasurer for the Killingworth Historical Society for four years. She has been employed by Regional District No. 4 as Administrative Assistant for more than twelve years where she works with five budgets from the various towns preparing annual salaries and filing numerous state reports. Her concern and dedication to this community continues with her willingness to accept the nomination for treasurer. I hope you will join me in voting for CLAUDETTE LAGASSE for Town Treasurer on November 8, 2005. Susan S. Adinolfo |
