To the Editor:

Claudette Lagasse is a candidate for the position of Town Treasurer in next week's Municipal election. I have known Claudette, her husband Donald and the Lagasse family for over 30 years. During this time I have witnessed Claudette's dedication, integrity and commitment to the Town of Killingworth in many capacities. Most evident are the countless hours that she has (and continues to) volunteered as an active member of the Killingworth Historical Society and the St. Lawrence parish. Claudette has remained active in both organizations over the years while raising a family of four, working full time and managing the family business.

Claudette's professional qualifications are equally impressive. The financial management experience that she gained while managing the family business together with the knowledge she has gained in her current position with the Regional School District 4 School System has provided Claudette with invaluable experience that will ensure her success as Town Treasurer and ultimately benefit the Town of Killingworth.

Claudette's proven and long-standing commitment to the Town of Killingworth coupled with the business and municipal experience she has gained makes her uniquely qualified to assume the role of Town Treasurer. Please join me in supporting Claudette Lagasse for Town Treasurer on Tuesday, November 8th.

Sincerely,
Richard A. Bauer
