Dear Editor:

This year the Killingworth Republican Town Committee's nominating team worked long and hard seeking the most qualified and experienced individuals to serve our community for the next several years. We even crossed party lines to achieve this goal. Our candidates exhibit professionalism and ongoing volunteerism. Many of our candidates currently hold elected positions in town or have held elective positions in the past.

Richard J. Cabral exhibits all three of these characteristics. Richard is our choice as the Republican candidate for Town Treasurer. Presently he is a member of the Region 17 Board of Education where he serves on the Budget, Communications, Education, Finance and Negotiations Committees. He is a regular attendee of the Board of Selectmen's Meetings and serves as the liaison between the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Education. Richard also serves on the town's Land Use Committee. For the past three years Richard has served as Killingworth's Town Moderator. His involvement in town is not only limited to the political arena. Richard is also an active member of the Killingworth Lions Club and the Killingworth Scholarship Association. Richard looks forward to serving as your next Town Treasurer. His past experiences as a treasurer for a service organization and a private club will enable him to carry out his responsibilities and duties as our next Town Treasurer. Richard has spent literally thousands of hours serving the citizens of Killingworth. Richard will continue to serve us with integrity and honesty.

Richard has my endorsement and vote for our next Town Treasurer and I urge the voters of Killingworth to vote for Richard and our entire Republican Team this coming November 8th.

Frank N. Cunningham
KRTC Nominating Committee Chairman
