Dear Editor: With great enthusiasm, I am urging the support and election of Jamie Young as Judge of the Killingworth Probate Court. She understands families because she and her husband Brian are building a family, and she has attended training sessions concerning the family issues with which Judges of Probate are involved. She understands young people from her position as Director of Admissions at the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She understands public service from her membership on such important Killingworth organizations as the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission, Water Pollution Control Authority and Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. Jamie Young's education has also prepared her well for the Probate Court. She earned a bachelor's degree from Albertus Magnus and thereafter took post-graduate courses in ethics culminating in her appointment as an Adjunct Professor of Ethics. Most importantly, she is currently earning her law degree at the Quinnipiac University School of Law. While a law degree is not a requirement to be a Probate Judge, Jamie's legal training will serve well the residents of Killingworth. Jamie Young will bring many talents and a very engaging personality to the Killingworth Probate Court. She is a Killingworth treasure! I hope that she will earn your support. Ed Meyer, State Senator
