Members absent: J. Himmelman, M. Sanders

Minutes: The minutes of the January 24, 2006 Regular Meeting and the January 24, 2006 Public
Hearing were approved by a consensus of the members.

Enforcement Officer’s Report: Cathie Jefferson provided information on the following:

Larry Brown is putting in one driveway on a combined two lot piece of property in the Ridges at Deer Lake subdivision. A Cease & Desist notice was sent to the property owner for a violation. Mrs. Jefferson will contact the new owner to apply for a permit to do the work. The former owner was granted the original permit but the property has been sold and the permit is no longer valid.

She did some research on the pros and cons of having the Town Attorney and the Commission Attorney be the same. Discussion will continue at the next meeting.

There has been some discussion by Town officials of selling off a portion of the Bosco property including the old farmhouse. Town approval will have to be given in order for any part of the property to be sold.

Two Request for Reviews were received.

OLD BUSINESS

A. Notice of Violation to Ty Wallace – 77 Burr Hill Road
Engineer Roger Nemergut submitted a letter and attached Required Driveway Improvements at 77 Burr Hill Road, based on IWWC comments received during a site inspection on January 10th. Also attached is a field sketch of the driveway. Members reviewed the items on the list. Mr. Nemergut noted that some of the items have already been completed. The contractor did what he thought stabilized the site and is not presently working on the site. Mr. Nemergut said the contractor will have to continue working on the project to complete the work as outlined. Two of the members who were part of the inspection team were not present at this meeting. They will be given a copy of the list of items from Mr. Nemergut to review. Discussion will continue at the next meeting. Mr. Nemergut will inform the property owner that he must wait for a response from this commission before he can continue working on the driveway.

B. Discussion of IWWC Attorney selection
Discussion was tabled until the next meeting.
