Chairman John Himmelman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Members present: J. Himmelman, T. Doyle, S. Mala, E. Auer, C. Lippert
Also present - Enforcement Officer C. Jefferson
Members absent: G. Rockwell
Visitors: Philip Katz, Mark Clifton, Bob Tucker (architect)
Minutes: The minutes of the November 25, 2008 Regular Meeting were approved by a consensus of the members.
Enforcement Officer's Report: Cathie Jefferson reported on the following items:
1. She received an email from Jennifer Doncet, Nathan Jacobson & Associates, regarding the plantings on Burr Hill Road. Some of the plantings will be replaced.
2. She said she is aware of information about Lovers Lane between shared between Engineer Howard Pfrommer and Selectman Fred Dudek. Members agreed that the Town should submit a permit application if they want to do any work on Lovers Lane so the commission will know exactly what is proposed.

NEW BUSINESS
A. CT Yankee Council, B.A. S. (owner), Stantel Consulting Services, Inc. Attn: Philip Katz (agent) permit application for construction of buildings and parking lot at Deer Lake Camp, 101 Paper Mill Road
Philip Katz, Senior Project Manager, Stantel Consulting Services, Inc. reviewed the proposal with the members. A site walk was conducted on November 8th. Mark Clifton from Deer Lake Camp talked about the activities that take place at the camp on a year-round basis. He emphasized the need to upgrade the facilities to meet the health code. The proposed plan consists of adding a dining hall, staff cabins, additional parking and walkways, and a vegetated swale. No action can be taken until the January meeting.

T. Doyle moved, seconded by S.Mala, to add this item to the agenda. The motion carried. Members agreed that the budget for this year should remain the same for the next fiscal year. Chairman Himmelman will submit the budget requests before January 9th.
