The Intelligent Choice: 200 Years of Combined Experience

As the summer winds down, Labor Day is fast approaching and the children will soon be back in school. In what will seem like no time, our local Municipal election will be beckoning us to the polls.

The Killingworth Republican town committee has been exceptionally active these past few months putting together a team of candidates that is unmatched for experience. We are providing our voters with a slate that collectively held elective office in excess of two hundred years.

We have candidates from the top on down who are well educated and highly motivated.  Their agenda is the well-being of our town and its citizens. They are not running for office to further personal agendas, nor are they looking for employment.

Our candidates had no reason to make this election difficult for voters or to form a third party. The Progressive party was formed in Killingworth because its candidates can not accept defeat from their own party affiliations. “Progressive” is a term now used by tax-and-spend Liberals, the ultra left-wing of the Democrat party. You can change a name of a bird or a party, but you can’t change its feathers.

The old adage “The truth will set you free” will be used quite a bit to dismiss half-truths and empty promises from our opposition. We will be there to set the record straight. A quick example is John Amport’s recent letter to the editor of Killingworth Today. Mr. Amport claims the he has been Chairman of the KRTC for the past few years. The Chairman has actually been Frank N. Cuningham. The newly formed Progressives should keep their facts straight.

In closing, you will be hearing a lot from the team led by Richard Cabral and Fred Dudek. We will ask for your support as we proceed with our fall election effort. We realize that Killingworth has intelligent voters who will make intelligent choices on November 6th.

Richard Cabral and Fred Dudek: The Intelligent Choice.
